About Us
Our founders were inspired by the Word of God in 2 Kings 22 where the Lord spoke to them
about the mission and life of King Josiah. Although the Word was given to them around the
year 2000, the ministry only started in 2014.
Josiah Ministries International (JMI) was founded by the inspiration of the Lord at a time
when so many young people have strayed from church and also lost their true identity. We
are driven to find and work with those who have gone astray and have lost their passion for
the Lord.
Like Moses, we are determined to be led by the presence of the Lord. Exodus 33:14-16
(NIV) The LORD replied, “My Presence will go with you, and I will give you rest.” Then
Moses said to him, “If your Presence does not go with us, do not send us up from here. How
will anyone know that you are pleased with me and with your people unless you go with us?"
Our Inspiration
Josiah, a young king who ascended the throne at the tender age of eight, stood out for his unwavering commitment to true worship. Unlike his predecessors, he didn't tolerate idolatry. Instead, he led a radical reformation, cleansing the land of false idols and restoring true worship to God (2 Kings 22-23).
Our Pillars
● The Lord Supports: The name Josiah means “The Lord supports”. We trust in the
Lord to guide and empower us in everything we do.
● Empowering Youth: Just as Josiah's young age didn't hinder his calling, we are
committed to equipping and empowering young people to use their gifts and talents
for God's kingdom.
● New Beginnings: The number eight signifies new beginnings. At JMI, we believe
God offers a fresh start to everyone, regardless of their past.
● Restoring True Worship: Our focus is on genuine worship that goes beyond
entertaining music and fosters a deep desire to draw near to the presence of God.
● Revival and Revivalists: We believe God is raising up revivalists, individuals who
carry the fire of God and ignite revival wherever they go. We strive to equip and
empower such individuals.
